JIPNews.id – Jurnalis Fest 2023 telah sukses digelar oleh komunitas Jurnalis Indonesia Peduli (JIP) selama dua hari, Jumat (24/2) dan Sabtu (25/2) di Taman Pemuda Pratama, Kecamatan Beji, Depok, Jawa Barat.
Di ajang ini, panitia turut mengundang 16 UMKM (usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah) untuk menjadi tenant bazar.
Ke-16 UMKM yang hadir adalah BBP3KP, Yoru (Yoghurt Rumput Laut), Elsa Shabby (pakaian), Iwakula (Olahan ikan), Kantin TPP (Jus, madu, Bir Pletok), Kui (Fish Skin Chips), Gerai D’Pita (olahan makanan beku), Uptude (olahan ikan), Ratu Dimsum, Kymi Leather (kerajinan tas kulit), Kedai Umi Firza (dimsum), Chicken Chapter (olahan ayam), Kebun Oemar (jual tanaman karnivora), Kedai Madam Nurizza, dan Big Farm Desa Kertawangi Bandung (hasil bumi).
Uniknya, di antara UMKM itu ada beberapa mantan jurnalis yang banting setir jadi pengusaha, seperti Dini Rohmiyati pemilik Ratu Dimsum pernah bekerja di Majalah Ayah, kemudian Muhammad Yani pemilik Kebun Oemar sempat 7 tahun bekerja di Merahputih.com, dan Aris Dannu pernah belasan tahun bekerja di Inilah.com.
Muhammad Yani mengatakan, acara Jurnalis Fest 2023 digelar cukup meriah oleh kawan-kawan dari JIP.
Menurutnya, ini sangat bermanfaat merangkul para wartawan atau mantan wartawan yang sedang merintis usaha.
“Mereka bisa memperkenalkan produk mereka ke teman-teman sesama wartawan dan masyarakat umum,” kata Yani.
Dia berharap acara seperti ini bisa terus bisa dikembangkan dan lebih bervariasi lagi sehingga bisa mengundang antusiasme masyarakat umum.
Aris Dannu pun sependapat dengan Muhammad Yani. Dia melihat acara Jurnalis Fest 2023 sudah keren, meriah dan bazarnya dibuat beragam, tak hanya kuliner saja.
“Hari kedua cakep tuh, rame peserta dan penontonnya. Mau kasih masukan aja, mungkin next bisa dibuka untuk umum dan dipinggir jalan raya menuju akses lokasi boleh dikasih spanduk biar tahu kalo ada ‘hajatan’,” ungkap Aris.
Ramadan Fest 2023 Siap Digelar
Di hari pertama, Jurnalis Fest 2023 mengadakan Pelatihan Multimedia dan Jurnalistik Dasar untuk Relawan Pencarian dan Penyelamatan (SAR).
Para relawan SAR mendapat materi Jurnalistik Video Dasar dengan pemateri News Producer MNCTV Yohanes Odja, Live Report is Simple dengan pemateri News Anchor MNCTV Anita Dewi, dan Memotret Bencana Menggunakan HP dengan pemateri Head Photo Division Merdeka.com Arie Basuki.
Yohanes Odja, yang juga ditunjuk sebagai Ketua Panitia Jurnalis Fest 2023, mengatakan bahwa JIP akan melanjutkan event di bulan puasa nanti dengan tema Ramadan Fest 2023 yang berlangsung 25 Maret-26 April 2023.
“JIP sudah mempersiapkan acara berikutnya, yakni Ramadan Fest 2023 yang digelar selama bulan puasa, yakni mulai 25 Maret hingga 16 April 2023,” tutur Odja. (*)
